Roberto Zecchinelli・Bass Guitar
Bass Guitarist Roberto Zecchinelli has been a professional musician and a music teacher for more than 20 years. He performed and toured extensively in Europe and in the United States, playing in many international Jazz and Blues Festivals and collaborating with international artists such as “Blue” Lou Marini (saxophone for the Blues Brother Band, James Taylor, Frank Zappa), blues legend “Chicago” Bob Nelson, jazz composer Maria Schneider and many many others. He performed on “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Hair” and other Musical Theater Shows.
He is also an Arranger and Musical Director. His original compositions and performance on the movie “The Cameraman” by Buster Keaton were awarded at “Rimusicazioni Film Festival”. He graduated with honors (Bachelor of Arts) at the Conservatory G.B. Martini in Bologna, Italy,and also studied at the “Bass Collective” in New York. He studied with Furio di Castri, Ron Carter, Lincoln Goines and many others.
