Ruth Webb - Peploe

Ruth Webb-Peploe has always had a love of music but started proper lessons in piano at the age of 12 and harp at the age of 14. She went on to play the harp with the Northamptonshire Youth Orchestra, performing in many concerts and touring in Germany. Ruth studied music at Cardiff University, where her piano teacher was Richard McMahon. Ruth then went on to train as a primary school teacher, a job which has enabled her to specialize in music.

As well as harp and piano, Ruth plays bass guitar, and has played in several church based bands, as well as developing and running youth and children’s bands.

Ruth has taught the piano for 12 years and strongly believes in making both lessons and practice times fun and enjoyable. Discovering a love of playing the piano is key to making good progress and developing skills that last a lifetime.
