Ruth has always had a deep love for music, starting formal piano lessons at age 12 and the harp at age 14. She went on to study music at Cardiff University, where she trained under the acclaimed pianist Richard McMahon.
Performance & Versatility
Ruth is a versatile multi-instrumentalist with extensive performance and ensemble experience:
Harp: Performed in numerous concerts and toured Germany with the Northamptonshire Youth Orchestra.
Bass Guitar: Plays in several church-based bands and has spent years developing and running youth and children’s bands.
Teaching Philosophy & Experience
After university, Ruth trained as a primary school teacher, a career that allowed her to specialize deeply in music education. Now with over 12 years of private piano teaching experience, she strongly believes in making both lessons and practice times highly engaging and fun.
Ruth’s core philosophy is that discovering a genuine love for playing the piano is the ultimate key to making great progress and developing musical skills that last a lifetime.

Aida started playing the piano at the age of four under the guidance of her mother, a professional musician. At six, she began studying classical piano at a prestigious Ten-Year Music School, graduating with the highest honors. She then entered the J. Tallat-Kelpsa College of Music in Vilnius, Lithuania, before earning her Bachelor’s degree in Music from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under Professor R. Karosaite.
Repertoire & Expertise
Throughout her extensive training, Aida mastered a vast classical repertoire of both Western and Russian composers, including Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Rachmaninov, and Scriabin. Beyond performance, she acquired deep foundational knowledge in music theory, music history, child psychology, pedagogy, and advanced teaching techniques.

With over twenty years of teaching experience, Aida has developed her own unique instructional method. It beautifully blends the rich traditions of the Russian Piano School with the latest advancements in music pedagogy.

Julia developed a lifelong passion for woodwinds early in life, playing and performing on various instruments from the age of six. After completing her Bachelor of Arts, she earned her PGCE at Roehampton University, establishing a strong foundation for a career dedicated to performance and music education across schools and arts organizations.

Julia’s versatility spans classical orchestras to jazz ensembles as both a soloist and group performer. She specializes across primary woodwind instruments—including alto, tenor, and soprano saxophones, clarinet, and flute. Beyond performance, her expertise covers classroom music, ensemble direction, and comprehensive instruction in music theory.

Lourenço started playing the drums when he was eleven years old, sparking a lifelong connection with music. He went on to formalize his training in the UK, graduating with a BMus (Hons) in Popular Music Performance from the prestigious BIMM London.

An incredibly versatile musician, Lourenço has played with many different bands and mastered a wide variety of musical styles, including rock, jazz, metal, hip-hop, and progressive rock.
He brings a wealth of real-world stage experience to his students, having performed at numerous venues and major music festivals. Notable highlights of his career include:

Teaching Philosophy
Lourenço always strives to captivate his students through highly motivating lessons. His goal is to provide young musicians with the exact tools and techniques they need to achieve their maximum potential, all while continuously cultivating a deep, genuine passion for the drums.

Born in Poland, Katarzyna began her musical education at the age of seven at the National Karol Szymanowski School of Music in Katowice. It was love at first sight with the violin, a passion that soon expanded to include the viola. She graduated from the secondary school class of Lukasz Syrnicki (violist of the acclaimed Silesian String Quartet) with distinction in 2014.
She then pursued higher education at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Wroclaw, studying Viola Performance under Professors Artur Rozmyslowicz and Michal Micker, graduating in 2019 with a Master of Arts Degree.
Performance & Orchestral Career
Throughout her 17 years of musical training, Katarzyna has participated in prestigious masterclasses across Europe, learning from world-renowned pedagogues like Matthew Jones, Hartmut Rohde, and Piotr Reichert.
Her extensive professional performance career includes:
Orchestras: Performing across Europe and participating in studio recording sessions with elite Polish ensembles, including the National Forum of Music Symphony Orchestra, the "Leopoldinum" Chamber Orchestra, and the Sudetian Philharmonic.
Chamber Music: Performing regularly as a member of the "Quartete-a-tete" string quartet.
Genre-Bending Projects: Exploring acoustic-electronic fusion as the violist for the experimental ensemble Vayio, who are currently finalizing their first concept album.
Teaching Philosophy
Katarzyna is a highly qualified educator who has completed rigorous teacher training covering pedagogy, general psychology, music psychology, string instrument methodology, and didactics. She is deeply motivated to bring this world-class foundation into the classroom, fostering an engaging environment where pupils can expand their abilities to their absolute fullest potential.

Oliver grew up in Kingston Upon Thames and discovered his passion for music early, starting piano lessons at the age of eight. He went on to formalize his musical education at the University of Surrey in Guildford before continuing his advanced studies overseas at the University of Maryland in the United States.

After returning home to London, Oliver channeled his international training and diverse musical background into teaching. He works with students on both piano and keyboard, using his broad knowledge of music history and styles to create engaging, well-rounded lessons.

Lucia Munden is a professional vocalist who earned a First-Class Honours degree in Music from the University of Bristol. Demonstrating academic and performance excellence early on, she achieved full marks in her A-Level singing recital and earned Distinctions across RSL Singing Grades 1–8.
Repertoire & Expertise
Lucia is trained across a broad spectrum of vocal styles, including Classical, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Rock. Her decade-long career as a professional singer includes extensive work as a studio recording artist, appearances at major festivals and events, and supporting legendary artists such as Grace Jones and Tom Jones.

Lucia teaches singers of all experience levels, from curious beginners to advanced performers preparing for recitals. She focuses on helping students discover the full power of their voice through proper vocal technique, supportive warmups, emotional expression, and genuine enjoyment. Under her guidance:

Skye El-Shirbiny is a violinist and educator who earned her teaching diploma from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music. Based in Oxford, Skye is deeply committed to breaking down traditional barriers in the classical world and making music accessible to broader, everyday audiences.

While Skye’s performance practice is firmly rooted in the classical tradition, she distinctively enriches her repertoire by drawing on rich folk influences. She approaches violin performance as an emotional bridge, using music to connect people across diverse settings well beyond traditional concert halls.

Simon started playing music at the age of 11. By his late teens, he was writing original music and playing venues throughout the UK. Initially self-taught, he was awarded a scholarship to study music theory and performance at The London Music School, where he graduated in 1999. He then continued his studies, graduating from the Academy of Contemporary Music with First Class honours. Additionally, Simon holds three instrumental Grade 8 qualifications: guitar, bass guitar and drums.
As a professional musician, Simon has played over 2,000 gigs with 100s of bands, ranging from wedding and function bands to original rock and pop bands. He toured Europe, playing in Holland, Italy, Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Latvia. He was also a member of the Hard Rock Cafe resident band in Dubai, playing 4 sets nightly, 6 nights a week, between 2004 and 2006. Simon has written and recorded 3 albums of original music and has recorded with numerous artists/bands.

Throughout his 20-year career as a music teacher, Simon has shared his extensive knowledge of contemporary graded syllabuses and popular music with students of all ages, including adults, at many schools and educational organisations. His teaching is not confined to instrumentation. Simon also leads contemporary vocal/choir sessions, band and ensemble work, and guides students on GCSE and A-Level submissions, including composition and recording techniques for end-of-course requirements.
